Content: This full day workshop assumes familiarity with your camera and its controls but no prior experience of wild life/nature photography is necessary. The day will start with an introduction to the park followed by a brief presentation by professional photographer Andrew Williams covering useful techniques and settings, together with equipment advice and hints and tips to help you get the most out of your day.
We will start the day by quickly revising some basic concepts such as:
• Controlling Aperture and Depth of Field
• Auto v Manual focusing
• Metering and Exposure
• Selecting and framing an image
Then we’ll be out in the park where there is a wide variety of animals from big cats to prairie marmots with high level walkways to get great, natural looking, shots. Andrew and staff from Wilkinson Cameras will assist the group throughout the day offering all delegates advice and suggestions on how to capture that all important shot. We will also have one of the park keepers on hand during our visit.
Normally keepers as well as being able to tell you more about the park and answer any questions you may have will come and have a chat with the group on arrival and at break times
